Aamir Khan Productions' Peepli [Live] was judged The Best First Feature Film at the recently held Durban International Film Festival.

The international jury noted "Peepli Live is an ambitious and well-realised film that deals with serious political issues in a witty and entertaining manner.

It creates an enchanting world of colourful characters, images and music that engrosses viewers throughout." While Peepli is doing the festival rounds, it's slated to release countrywide on August 13.
